The real question is why people continue to buy this junk ? Buy a air stream and don't worry about crap like this. 30 -40 year old air streams are still on the road where most stick built rv fall apart in 5 years.

Have you ever seen what a travel trailer looks like when it rolls over? It falls apart like a wet paper towel. The biggest piece left is the size of a quarter.

It was hard to tell from the video if they grindered (grinded?) the paint from the steel before welding, and then reprimed/painted. Also, curious how much weight all that steel added (that's less beer you can carry).

From what I see and hear I'm avoiding 2020-2024 RVs. I'll wait and see on the 25's or look for an older model if I ever decide to make a purchase

Not sure why you say 2019 models are suspect but Covid didn't hit until 2020. I bought a 2019 Forrest River trailer early in 2020 and have only had a few minor quality related issues.

I absolutely loved your video and just subscribed! My husband and I went to an RV show a while back and every one we went into seemed like it was made cheaply. I originally wanted to upgrade from our 2018 jayco prestige class c motor home but after seeing what's out there it made me realize how much better ours is. From the cabinets to the interior it's just a beautiful RV. I'm not seeing that quality anymore. Sure we've had some issues but they have been minor and fixable and I have to say jayco was awesome! Now seeing your video it wasn't just us noticing the changes. I'm so glad we didn't trade ours in! We appreciate it that much more!

I think when you start touring new tract home building sites you realize it's the exact same problem there. Buy a good "used" home or have your own built.

We have a 2019 (built in 2018) Renegade Valencia 38RW that we purchased new in early 2020. We have been full timers since April 2020. We watched your video last night and were looking around at the ceiling and floor seams - all good and tight, no molding coverup. The quality construction on the Renegade Super C has really impressed us. The best feature of our RV is that it is "pre-Covid." Great video.

Are all recreational vehicles crap? No, but an awful lot of them are and certainly more of them more than up to be for the money being paid. When you buy a $15,000 RV, you are getting what you pay for. The problem is when you buy a $125,000 rv you are not getting what you paid for. And beat it all, the profit margin is outrageous. You can figure that it breaks into thirds, based on what I have actually seen on the numbers. That means if you have a $150,000 MSRP recreational vehicle, the dealer probably bought it from the factory for $100,000 and the factory probably put it together for $50,000. Talk about profit margin, being extreme!that is why the dealer can give you one heckuva discount and still make one heck of a lot of money when they sell it to you. Negotiate if you want to save yourself some money.

I’m not for more government regulations. But there are no government regulations on the RV manufacturers like there are on the auto, aircraft, boat industries. Until the government imposes some tough regulations in these RV makers. They’ll continue to make junk

As I said in an earlier post on your other video, we cancelled our Reflection 150 plans (just before pulling the trigger at a Blue Compass.) It’s got nothing to do with full time living. It’s got everything to do with bad design and execution on the part of the manufacturer. You’d have these issues if you took it out a couple times a month for a few days at a time. Personally, I’d park it in front of their building with a couple coffins on top and a banner proclaiming death trap which is exactly what they are while on the road if it ever came apart. Best wishes.

We were very close to upgrading from our 2018 travel trailer to a GD Reflection 150 but there has been so many documented issues and videos that this one was the final piece for me. Just called my sales guy at Blue Compass and told him I wasn’t going forward.

We bought a used 2003 Roadtrek 190 Popular and LOVE IT. Quality made. Had a trailer and what a pain. Love our B Van. Can go anywhere, park anywhere anytime!!!

Brinkley uses Lippert frames.😂😂😂😂 Outdoor RV build their own frames designed for each floorplan. I would select Outdoor RV over Brinkley all day long.

Thank you for all of this information. My concern about right fit and finish is no room for flex when going down the road. Also the underlying structural integrity to me is more important than fit and finish. I have heard the RiverStone is also a good brand. I believe they are now using dovetail construction. Can you please comment on the questions I presented. Again thank you for your help.

Dude, I love the high dollar stuff. But I am having to make a decision to live full time RVing on disability income. An RV that is $100k is a bit unrealistic.

I love the color and the brass, but they did a bad job on the layout. The TV is in the kitchen, so it's a neck wrecker. Even the articulating arm doesn't help. The reflection from the windows makes the picture unwatchable. Why would I spend all this money on a Brinkey?

look at coach house , living vehicle , atc . this problem is with most things even houses people pay way to much for junk because they dont know the difference . big corporations control the price of everything it has been a big problem for years

I would never buy a new RV today. Today's RVs with rare exception are at best junk and dangerous. A fifth wheel not made for road use? Unbelievable! You are a lot nicer than me. I would never trust the crooked company that sold me anything that poorly designed to repair it even if I was watching every step. They would not be seeing me at the factory but in court. These companies need to be sued, made to return peoples money and take their junk back. This will only change when they start going bankrupt do to their total lack of care for the safety of the public. I am not a big fan of law suits but this RV thing is totally out of control.
